Woodlands Hall – Updated 2th April 2025
The committee have almost finished updating the hall. A special thanks to Barry, Martin, Rob & Graham for the extra hard work they have put in to get the new ceiling installed. Additional thanks to those other committee members who have helped also.
Tribute nights
The club are planning to hold tribute nights later this year in the hall. Theses tributes will be nationwide tributes so the best that the club can book!! We will be providing VIP tables at these nights to make it even more spectacular. Photos will be coming soon of what to expect. Are there any great tribute artists you would like to see?? Let us know.
Drinks Prices
Unfortunately due to the National Minimum Wage be increased imminently the club will need to raise prices across the board. We will as always try to keep it minimal and may wait until the Spring Budget to decide how much we would need to increase the prices as not to raise them twice within 4 weeks!
Bingo!
The Jackpot bingo still stands at £1000 for Saturday night! We are now calling 4 bonus numbers for the jackpot so do not expect it to last much longer!
However, the new jackpot is expected to start at around £400 plus!
Raffles – Updated 26th April 2025
From time to time the club hold Saturday night raffles. The reason for these is to simply raise funds for the maintenance and upkeep of the club. If we are holding a raffle whilst you are in the club we beg you to buy some tickets to help. These raffles really do help with ongoing repairs etc so your support is very much appreciated. Funds from the raffles will now be used to pay for new upholstered seating downstairs so please support them 🙂
Meat Draw
Thursday nights meat draw has proved fairly successful. The meat is sourced from Springfields butchers in Parkstone. Please remember that meat draw tickets are on sale during the week and not just on a Thursday! If you cannot attend on a Thursday but wish to purchase tickets and win, then the best of any remaining prizes will be picked for you. It can be placed in our chiller until you can collect.
